The 2001 murder of 19 year old Tara Sidarovich finally came together in the last two weeks, with the arrests of two primary suspects, and a third who lied to investigators. To give the case complete finality, detectives are on the hunt for others who lied during the investigation – delaying justice for more than 10 years. Trish Routte with Crime Stoppers has the story.
Accused killer added to Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list
Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help tracking down a man Charlotte County deputies say was involved with the 2001 murder of 19 year old Tara Sidarovich. Phillip Barr, DOB 7/26/69, faces the charge of first degree murder in Sidarovich’s death. Earlier today, the Charlotte County Sheriff’s Office announced the arrest of 39 year old David Ray McMannis, who has been taken into custody in Cumberland, Maryland, on the murder charge. Barr, however, remains on the run.
