Just days after a three year old German Shepherd was shot to death in his own backyard, anonymous donors are stepping up to the plate and adding to the reward being offered by Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers for the person responsible for the crime.
Shortly before 6 a.m. on Sunday, December 28th, Kenneth Harrison awoke to gunfire outside his house on Towles Street. He found his dog “Hank” with gunshot wounds to his hind leg, front paw and side – injuries which later caused Hank’s death.
Enhanced rewards offered to take violent offenders off the streets once and for all
The Fort Myers Police Department in cooperation with Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is offering an enhanced financial reward for information leading to the arrests and convictions of some of the City’s most violent, repeat, offenders.
In addition to reward money already being offered through Crime Stoppers, FMPD is upping the ante to stop the violence.
