Southwest Florida Crime Stopper’s Press Release: ID’s Needed in Publix Liquor Store Theft
Southwest FloridaCrime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help in identifying two males and three females responsible for the theft of about a dozen bottles of liquor valued at approximately $400.00.
On October 12, 2012, the Lee County Sheriff’s Office responded to Publix Liquor, 13401 Summerlin Rd., Fort Myers in reference to a grand theft. The investigation revealed that the suspects entered the store in two separate groups.
It's something you see all the time, purses being left in shopping carts while unsuspecting customers browse through the shelves. But one Cape Coral woman learned the hard way that criminals could be lurking just a few feet away. Trish Routte with Crime Stoppers has the story.
