Southwest FloridaCrime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying a man who went on a shopping spree last week, using credit cards stolen from an unsuspecting victim.
Surveillance cameras captured images of the man using one of the stolen cards to purchase gas for his newer model silver Toyota Corolla at a Hess station in Lehigh Acres. Detectives say stolen cards were also used at other area stores before finally getting shut down.

Southwest FloridaCrime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying an unknown black male who skillfully broke into a Lehigh Acres business earlier this week.
According to detectives, the security alarm at Lehigh Auto, located at 5507 8th Street W. in Lehigh Acres was triggered shortly after 3 a.m. on Monday, April 21st. When the owner arrived shortly thereafter, he discovered that the front window to the business had been pried off, and a 52” Samsung plasma television stolen.
Brazen armed robbers target Lehigh fireworks stand
Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help generating information on a brazen robbery this morning at a Lehigh Acres fireworks stand.
According to detectives, three black males entered the fireworks stand at the corner of Gunnery Road and Meadow Road shortly after 9 a.m., all wearing gloves and with two of the suspects brandishing semiautomatic handguns. The men demanded money, at which point the victim complied.

A midsummer afternoon rainstorm during rush hour, at a busy intersection, left a Lehigh man dead and two others injured. On August 10, 2012 at 10:27 p.m., the Lee County Sheriff's Office received a report of an armed robbery at the Star Food Mart, 1416 Lee Boulevard, Lehigh Acres.
The victim told responding deputies a heavy set male wearing a black mask, black hood and white shorts entered the store and demanded money while pointing a gun.
The victim gave the suspect an undisclosed amount of money and the suspect fled the scene. A customer approaching the store witnessed the male run out of the store and get into a blue four door Oldsmobile.

Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers is asking for the public’s help identifying one or more suspects who broke into a trio of Lehigh businesses – all within just minutes of each other.
The spree started shortly before 2:00 a.m. on Saturday, May 26th at the New Look Beauty Salon, located at 5600 8th Street West. An employee of the business, and three of his friends, was in the back portion of the salon when they heard the glass front door smash.
