He’s accused of one of the most heinous crimes imaginable – the raping of a young child.  For the last few years he’s gotten away without having justice served, but a recent incident has detectives back on his trail. Trish Routte with Crime Stoppers has the story.

UPDATE:

Two days after being added to Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list, Antonio Hall has chosen to turn himself in at the Lee County Jail.  After being named as one of Lee County’s most wanted fugitives, Hall turned himself in at the Lee County Jail at 9:12 this evening.  Hall will face first appearance before a judge tomorrow morning, at which point a decision on bail will be decided.

Crime Stoppers appreciates the support of media outlets in helping encourage this wanted felon to do the right thing and surrender to authorities.

Accused child molester arrested this morning

Just two days after being placed on Crime Stoppers’ 10 Most Wanted list, accused child molester Anthony Miller was arrested just over an hour ago in Fort Lauderdale.  Miller was added to the list on Tuesday, and an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip was received just 24 hours later with information on his whereabouts.

Crime Stoppers youngest “Most Wanted” suspect arrested this morning

A 20 year old repeat offender, who’s been committing felony crimes in Lee County since the young age of just 11, has finally been taken into custody.  Members of the US Marshals Fugitive Warrants Task Force arrested Fernando Vega, DOB 2/5/93, just before 9 a.m. this morning in North Cape Coral.  Vega had been on the run for just over three months, this time for violating terms of his community control following an arrest for burglary and grand theft.

Interstate cooperation leads to arrest of SW Florida fugitive

Interstate cooperation was at its finest this week, when a tip provided to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of a Lee County woman who had fled from justice and was attempting to hide in Greensboro, North Carolina.

Danielle Renee Woodall, of Coral Springs, Florida, was wanted on warrants in connection with a grand theft case in Lee County.

Crime Stoppers Most Wanted murder suspect apprehended

After an exhaustive manhunt, the search for Crime Stoppers Most Wanted fugitive has ended.  This afternoon, members of the New York-New Jersey US Marshals Fugitive Task Force took Robert Toribio (DOB 9/23/73) into custody in Manhattan, New York. Members of the Florida Regional Fugitive Task Force, based out of Fort Myers, have been working closely with their Task Force counterparts in New York/New Jersey for the last few months, with the strong belief that he was hiding out in the New York City or Newark, NJ area.

One of Crime Stoppers Most Wanted arrested in Lehigh, new addition added

After nearly six months of running from the law, one of Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted fugitives now finds himself behind bars.

Tyrone Campbell, DOB 2/9/70, was apprehended by the Lee County Sheriff’s Office shortly after 3:30 p.m. Thursday on Venice Avenue in Lehigh.  Campbell is a convicted sex offender who had been dodging charges of failing to appear in court and failure to register as a sex offender.

Tip & teamwork takes teenage menace off the streets… again

Thanks to an anonymous tip called in to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers, a North Fort Myers teenager who has wreaked havoc for months on end is finally behind bars in Kentucky.

Damien Licquia, DOB 5/8/97, was arrested shortly before 8 p.m. last night and is currently in a jail cell at the McCracken County (KY) Juvenile Detention Center on seven warrants out of Lee County, including burglary (occupied and unoccupied), grand theft, grand theft of a firearm and dealing in stolen property, among others.

After years of walking on the wrong side of the law, Fort Myers resident Antonio Ellis Taylor has earned a spot as one of Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers’ 10 Most Wanted fugitives.

Over the years, Taylor, DOB 11/15/75, has been booked into the Lee County Jail 28 times – on a wide variety of charges – mostly stemming from violent offenses.
