She’s been jailed more than a dozen times before, and been convicted of thefts in multiple counties, and now Varaka Stewart is one of Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted fugitives.
Stewart (DOB 12/25/85) is a repeat offender in Lee, Collier and Manatee Counties, charged with a long list of thefts, robbery, battery, burglary, trespassing, and giving false information to law enforcement officers, among other crimes.
Thanks to the hard work and dedication of the Lee County Sheriff’s Office’s Fugitive Warrants Unit, Octavius Pullen has been taken into custody. Detectives arrested Pullen late this afternoon and he was booked into the Lee County Jail at 3:55 p.m., where he was charged with armed burglary, grand theft and the grand theft of a firearm.
“These criminals can run, but ultimately they will get caught,” said Trish Routte, Crime Stoppers Coordinator.
He’s accused of one of the most heinous crimes imaginable – the raping of a young child. For the last few years he’s gotten away without having justice served, but a recent incident has detectives back on his trail. Trish Routte with Crime Stoppers has the story.
Two days after being added to Crime Stoppers 10 Most Wanted list, Antonio Hall has chosen to turn himself in at the Lee County Jail. After being named as one of Lee County’s most wanted fugitives, Hall turned himself in at the Lee County Jail at 9:12 this evening. Hall will face first appearance before a judge tomorrow morning, at which point a decision on bail will be decided.

Just two days after being placed on Crime Stoppers’ 10 Most Wanted list, accused child molester Anthony Miller was arrested just over an hour ago in Fort Lauderdale. Miller was added to the list on Tuesday, and an anonymous Crime Stoppers tip was received just 24 hours later with information on his whereabouts.

A 20 year old repeat offender, who’s been committing felony crimes in Lee County since the young age of just 11, has finally been taken into custody. Members of the US Marshals Fugitive Warrants Task Force arrested Fernando Vega, DOB 2/5/93, just before 9 a.m. this morning in North Cape Coral. Vega had been on the run for just over three months, this time for violating terms of his community control following an arrest for burglary and grand theft.

Interstate cooperation leads to arrest of SW Florida fugitive
Interstate cooperation was at its finest this week, when a tip provided to Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers led to the arrest of a Lee County woman who had fled from justice and was attempting to hide in Greensboro, North Carolina.
Danielle Renee Woodall, of Coral Springs, Florida, was wanted on warrants in connection with a grand theft case in Lee County.
