In an effort to find the men responsible for the recent rash of violent home invasion robberies in Collier County, the reward for information leading to the arrests of the men involved now stands at $26,000. $25,000 of that reward has come from numerous donors, with the remaining $1,000 allocated from Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers.
“As the days and weeks go by without an arrest, community members are bonding together to do whatever they can to help law enforcement apprehend these extremely violent criminals who are committing heinous acts,” said Trish Routte,
As of this morning, the enhanced reward for the apprehension of the suspects involved in the Collier County home invasions now stands at $12,500. All donors wish to remain anonymous. Of that $12,500, $11,500 has been allocated from private individuals and the other $1,000 is from Crime Stoppers.

In the wake of five violent home invasion robberies in Collier County over the last two months, Southwest Florida Crime Stoppers has established an enhanced reward fund for information leading to the arrests of the men responsible for these crimes.
At the request of residents from some of the affected communities in Collier County, a separate reward fund was opened this week by Crime Stoppers for anyone who wishes to contribute to the reward for the apprehension of the suspects.
Residents in some upscale Collier County neighborhoods are on alert after five very similar and violent home invasion robberies. A multi-agency task force has now been assembled to try to track down the men behind the guns. Trish Routte with Crime Stoppers has the story.
