Search Still On For Home Invasion Robbery Suspect
May 19, 2009

Six weeks after a home invasion robbery in the Burnt Store Isles Subdivision of Punta Gorda, detectives are still seeking information from the public in hopes of identifying the suspect.

Nearby surveillance cameras captured images of the man detectives believe broke into the Burnt Store Isles home on Tuesday, April 7th, and robbed the residents of an undisclosed amount of cash. Fortunately, no one was injured in the robbery.

Detectives think cash was the motivating factor, however they're hoping anonymous tipsters will help fill in the blanks of what happened, and who's responsible.

Anyone with information on the home invasion robbery is asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-780-TIPS (8477). All callers will remain anonymous and will be eligible for up to $1,000 in cash rewards. Tips may also be made online at www.swflcrimestoppers.org.
